Hot pot is my favorite food, and in China, I always eat hot pot with my family. However, I can not find very good restaurant of hot pot in Calgary.
Last week, Susan and I went to Jennifer’s dorm to eat hot pot. We went to a Chinese supermarket first for buying something to eat, such as tofu, seafood, and some vegetables. We also bought a kind of source for hot pot, very spicy. After that, we went back to her dormitory, and started to cook. The steps of cooking hot pot were very easy. We just need clean the food and mix some source. All the things were ready, and we started to eat, the taste was very delicious. I like chili very much, so I put a lot of chili oil into my bowl. During this time, Susan made a trouble with Jennifer and I. She wanted put potato into the pot, but it slip from the chopsticks, so some oil splashed on our clothes. Another funny thing was that we bought too much staff, and finally we couldn’t finish them. Jennifer said that our eyes are bigger than our stomach. We had a wonderful afternoon in her dorm.
